2026 ACTEBA Annual General Meeting

πŸ“£ ACTEBA AGM – Have Your Say!

Our AGM is coming up on 12 October at 6:30pm via Zoom, and all ACTEBA members are encouraged to attend.

This is your opportunity to have a genuine say in how our Association is run β€” including who represents you on the Executive Committee, the fees you pay, Life Membership, our Constitution, and other matters affecting ACTEBA and its members.

The AGM is where members get to vote and help shape the direction of the Association, so we’d love to see a strong turnout.

πŸ“… 12 October | 6:30pm | Via Zoom
πŸ“’ Notices of Motion must be submitted to the Secretary by 12 September.

It’s your Association. Have your say and get involved! 🎱

Australia Cup Trials – Entries Open

Entries for the 2026 Australia Cup are now open and will close on Tuesday 15th September.

Trials will be held the weekend of 18th/19th/20th September.

To enter –Β https://www.playhq.com/sports/register/fa8ca6

There is no preferred day of play for this event. Based on last year’s entries you will play on either Saturday or Sunday but not both and we will only use the Friday night as a last resort.

There is a new selection process this year. Two teams of 6 travel to the Australia Cup and the trials will be used to determine the Top 12 players. Once that is done the ACTEBA Core will select who of those 12 play in each team.

The Australia Cup is an event that targets players who may not usually get the opportunity to play at Nationals, enabling better exposure to the pressures and quality of players from around Australia. The event is played alongside the Nationals and this year is on the Gold Coast from 18th to 28th November.

2026 ACTEBA Junior Trials

Entries are open for the 2026 ACTEBA Junior Trials.

2026 ACTEBA Open Over 60s – Entries

Entries are open for the Open Over 60s category and will remain open until Thursday 10th September at 6pm.

This event is being held on the weekend of 12th/13th September.

To enter – Β ACTEBA Open Over 60s Entries

Based on last year’s entries play is expected to be completed on a single day on Saturday 12th September, however is subject to change based on entries.

This year we also held the Over 60s State Championship earlier in the year so there are just two places remaining on the team.

The expected format is:
– Split players into two groups
– Round robin x2 for each group
– The top 2 from each group then join and have a Top 4 playoff to determine finishing order for order of team offers
